Winter Field trip to Insect Museum

On November 3rd, kids and families of homeschoolers had fun  visiting the a esthetically and intellectually pleasing Insect museum at TNAU campus in Coimbatore.

The little ones also enjoyed watching movies on insects at the Bug Theater. To many adults, the cross section of the termite hill on display was fascinating.

A few kids were disturbed by how many insects had to be caught and killed in order  to be put on display boards at the museum.

It was also the birthday of Uma, one of our anchors.

The tree filled parking lot of the campus allowed for hangout sessions afterwards and some sharing of snacks and produce from farms.
